THE BRIEF
Following the successful launch of the O’Keeffe Building Services website, positioned to showcase the business as a multi-award-winning local family business that services the East Midland, our client asked us to produce a share of voice blog section. We were tasked with creating a best practice blog that will allow client to showcase their work, news, new projects and most importantly their recent launch into the solar installations market.

The blog needed to be bucket style in its construction, with multiple categories and authors. Further, SEO friendly in design, meaning the section assisted the websites SEO rankings.

OUR APPROACH

Understanding the Brief:
The team at O’Keeffe envisioned a slick and within website theme blog page, that prospective clients would find easy to use and understand. Professionalism is a key aspect to the O’Keeffe offering and the new blog section had to promote, via its design and visual feel, this professional approach, without overloading the reader with complex information or design.

Design & Content Development:
We focused on creating a visually aligned and well-structured blog section by:

1. Pulling the website theme through to the page.
2. Ensuring that the functional alignment of any article on the main bucket page was as precise as a luxury home build needs to be.
3. Using square lines and soft pallet as complimenting page feel, we have made a complex bucket developed section seem simple and easy on the eye.
4. Designing an easy SEO content strategy within each blog, driving the placements of the articles and website on search engines. As an example of the results, within 2 weeks the Blog section had O’Keeffe articles placing in 1^st place when searching on Google for target area specific solar installation services.

THE RESULT
We are proud to share that our client was thrilled with the final product. The blog section is already proving results for O’Keeffe Building Services, driving traffic to the website, ranking in target areas on SEO and giving the client the ability to link share their news, views and projects on social and direct media.

We will be working closely with client, as their digital agency to produce their articles and load them using best industry practice.
